Tenerife 2030 is the strategy of Tenerife´s City Council. The main aim is to prepare Tenerife and its society to face the challenges of the future. We want a prepared, formed and competitive society. That is why different tools have been designed and made available for the people of Tenerife to achieve a more capable, more cohesive, more equitable, more sustainable and a better connected island. Talent and enthusiasm get together in this project that is already a reality.


Tenerife 2030 is part of the 2016-2025 Island Development Strategy Framework (MEDI), a new management model based in goals implemented by Tenerife´s City Council that allows achieve a budget stability for the next ten years. The document includes the multiannual planning of actions developed in 36 programs and 5 strategic axes: Tenerife 2030, Social Action, Infrastructure, Employment and Productive Sectors, Sustainability and Environment.


The Society for the Economic Development of the Canary Islands, SODECAN, is a public company of the Canary Islands Government and since 1983 has been actively involved in financing profitable and innovative business projects. They specialize in covering market failures, their financing lines are designed to support different types of business projects that that are not eligible for private financing.
